Senior Clinical Psychologist/Director
Specialising in Telehealth service delivery, Youngblood uses a variety of modalities to work with clients throughout their lifespan.
He employs CBT, ACT, EMDR, and multiple somatic and mindfulness-based approaches to create individualised proven therapeutic practices for each client. He has a strong interest in schema-informed therapy, as well as working with people with long-standing issues.
Youngblood has worked with a variety of clients with physical and mental health issues, including those with disordered eating and body image challenges, anxiety and depression, PTSD, drug and alcohol dependence, cognitive decline, sports performance anxiety, sleep disorders, vision impairment, and postpartum depression. He also enjoys working with couples in relationship crisis.
Youngblood has over 25 years of experience teaching the structured physical discipline of yoga, which helps people cultivate better health and wellbeing using meditation, mindfulness, breathing awareness, and relaxation. Tying these skills into his psychology practice gives Youngblood a "whole of life perspective" on client treatment.
